The learnership started 17 February 2012 with an Induction Day at the CTU Pretoria Corporate Campus. There are 10 learners in the learnership and the facilitator is Mr Adedoja Adedamola.
The learners are excited and enthusiastic about the learnership and are eager to obtain their qualification - National Certificate: Information Technology: Systems Development – 48872 (NQF Level 5 – Credits 131).
The learnership is jointly managed by the AfriGIS Training Manager, Mrs C Seakamela, and Mrs E Rautenbach, CTU Learnership Manager.
The learnership will run over a period of 12 months of which 6 months will be classroom training and 6 months will be workplace experience. The classroom training will be facilitated at the CTU Pretoria Corporate Campus and the Workplace Experience will be at the AfriGIS offices.
The learners wrote the first MTA exam Friday 30 March 2012 with excellent results.
