As a given project for our POE (Portfolio of Evidence), we were requested to offer our services to a charity organisation of our choice. Our group chose the Animal Welfare Society in Stellenbosch. After approaching them we were asked to design a logo, pamphlet and a poster to advertise the pet sterilisation project taking place in Klipheuwel. After many a discussion we had a good idea of what they wanted from us and designed the requested graphics. Our logo was our main concern though, because it would be used to represent this new organisation. We redesigned a few times and finally came up with a logo that was the incarnation of what our clients wanted. We absolutely loved our experience and felt great accomplishment in seeing our designs being used in the real world. It has definitely inspired us to work harder. - Cornelia Britz and Carla Wilson
