11 February 2013,
young Giovanni Joubert from Hoërskool Zwartkops completed his CompTIA A+ certification
exam at our CTU Pretoria campus. Now
when we say young we mean 13 years old, the youngest student to certify at CTU
Training Solutions in history.
The CompTIA A+ certification
comprises of 2 exams, 22-801 CompTIA A+ Essentials and 22-802 CompTIA A+ IT
Technician. The international, vendor-neutral certification proves competence
in areas such as installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security
and troubleshooting. CompTIA A+
certified technicians also have excellent customer service and communication
skills to work with clients.
Giovanni lives a quiet life. He develops Android applications and got recognised as a
contributor and themer. He was also approved 3 months ago by XDA Developers a
group of developers who make custom roms and apps. Giovanni was inspired by his Android cell
phone, which he found to be slightly slow and decided to do something about
it. Giovanni plans to complete his
CompTIA Network+ and Cisco Certification in the future.
Giovanni has just raised the bar
and set the standard for IT excellence!
