Student growth of 25% in 2014 is positioning CTU as a significant player in the private education market in SA. We are planning to become a dominant player in the private education market with the new programmes and with the establishment of Education Hubs where students can study a broad range of qualifications.

We have created great experiences for students combining academic studies with skill development and a vibrant student life.

Our student life at CTU this year was once again a lot of fun. Our student representative bodies did a great job of creating fantastic student experiences, but they also contributed to numerous charities and made a difference in many less fortunate people’s lives.

Through our CTU Alumni we want to maintain contact and see all the students in future in our career division as second or third years, otherwise in our corporate division for lifelong learning.

The Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Durban campuses’ graduation was also on the 6th of December. The Western Cape Graduation was on the 29th of November.

Feedback from the Bloemfontein Graduation:
CTU Training Solutions Bloemfontein had a flawless ceremony at the Doxa Deo Auditorium on Saturday the 6th of December.

The students arrived early, ensuring that all photographs were taken and gowns collected by the time the ceremony officially started at 11:00.

The 2013 Microsoft funded students also attended the ceremony.

For the first time in CTU Bloemfontein history, we managed to almost pack the auditorium to the brim!

What a proud moment the 2014 graduation was! Parents and grandparents arrived from near and far. You could see the pride on their faces when their child was called up on stage. A few tears were shed and when doing introspection, we realised that there is only one reason why we do what we do
and that is because we do something that matters and that makes a difference in the lives of others.

We need to be the change we wish to see in the world!

Feedback from the Port Elizabeth Graduation:
There was excitement in the air as the PE graduates and their guests gathered at the Boardwalk Convention Centre for their big day on 6 December.

After enjoying some delicious muffins, scones and pastries, the stage was set for a memorable event.

Antoinette Reitz (CTU COO) opened the ceremony with scripture and prayer, wherafter she delivered the official welcoming on behalf of CEO, Ronald Meeske.

Guest speaker, Stuart Keil (majority owner of 4Tech IT Solutions) shared some “pearls of wisdom” with the graduates. He emphasized the importance of having the right attitude when entering the job market. It reinforced CTU’s belief in “employing for attitude and training for skill”.

After above formalities were complete, the students each had their moment to shine on stage.
CTU PE student Humairah Moosagie was awarded the trophy for the best CTU Graphic Design I learner. This was a very proud moment for Humairah, her family and the CTU PE staff.

Nicky Daniels, PE Campus Manager, closed the proceedings with the following words:
“Remember graduates,
Only as high as your reach
can you grow;
Only as far as you seek can
you go;
Only as deep as you look can
you see;
Only as much as you dream
can you be”.
